Louise was born in Northumberland, England. She studied undergraduate and postgraduate Law at King’s College, University of London and then abroad in Paris and Florence. Certainly, understanding the relationships between the characters, the trials they have encountered in the past and the manner in which their bonds have been tested can make the DCI Ryan series more enjoyable. I just wanted to echo a message earlier, this definitely should be made into a TV drama, I’ve read them all twice 🙂 Reply Every book in the DCI Ryan series works as a standalone story, but the lives of the different characters evolve from one novel to the other. I love that I know all the places you write about, even more so now, as have just moved away from England and I’m now in Australia, just so nostalgic to read about the places I know.
