The headband has an internal sheet metal reinforcement. Both headband cushion and earpad stuffings are quite soft, and covered in faux-leather. Soundwise they offer a sub-audiophile-grade output quality, which nevertheless may be appreciated by whoever likes warm bass-focused easy-going / fun presentations.

Considering the price, the sound quality surprised me positively. Especially fans of a powerful bass will get their money’s worth, because the headphones strongly amplify the low frequencies. The focus on DJs and bass enthusiasts is clear here, because electronic music sounds especially good through the headphones. The A70 comes with a 950mAh battery offering up to 50h playtime. Of course the effective autonomy may vary a bit depending on condition, volume etc, but that’s not soo important I think, as pretty much any audio-dedicated mobile source will run out of juice much sooner 🙂 If you’re walking around, chances are the 2.8m cable is too long. So you can pull the 3.5-3.5 1.5m straight one and use that to plug A70 onto your DAP.

As far as instrumentals were concerned, strings were pretty rich, as were the bass instruments. Unfortunately, drums and other midrange-centric instruments were a little washed out, which took away from the depth of the sound overall.

Design & Comfort
The OneOdio A70 has a comfortable headband on the top with ample cushioning, and the same goes for the soft memory foam in the earcups. The earcups can be removed for easier access to replacing the earcup foams. While the headphone is comfortable, I did find the adjustable levels to be a bit short, but maybe it’s because I have a big head. It would’ve been nicer if the headphone’s headband can extend just a little longer. Starting with wired connectivity, there’s a 6.35mm connector on the left shell, and another, 3.5mm connector on the right one. In the box two cables are supplied, a 6.35-3.5mm 2.8m “coiled” cable, and a 3.5-3.5mm 1.5m “straight” one. All of this is exclusively single ended, by the way.
