In Splatoon 3, while the Inkling Boy and Inkling Boy 2 amiibo share the same dialogue and features, the game differentiates between them. The rewards given by the Inkling Boy 2 amiibo are almost identical, minus the song, while the Squinja Mask has been split into the Squinja Mask Mk I and Squinja Mask Mk II.The Inkling has slightly dark skin (the fifth skin tone in Splatoon 3) with neon yellow hair (with a "Megalobraid" hairstyle), yellow irises with an orange ring around them, and classic shorts (like the default legwear in the original Splatoon).
