The Snuggy Lycra Body Rug is designed to be worn with our Lycra Hood to offer complete nose to tail coverage for the show season, keeping coat super shiny and dust free. Trim the seam allowances down to about half their width, then notch little triangles into the curves every 30mm (1in) or so, being careful not to cut through the stitching. Press the seam allowances open. Repeat for the other boot.Being self fixing the Hood can be worn with any other rug or with the Snuggy Jams Fleece Rug for the perfect winter warmth combination. The Jams Fleece Hood is also really useful for protecting plaits overnight or whilst at a show/event and will also encourage an unruly mane to lie flat! Top Tip: Use with the matching Jams Rug and Fleece Boots to create a cosy Onesie for your horse or pony. Cut out all the pieces you need in your size as noted on the pattern pieces. Cut short snips for the notches. Repeat the previous two steps with the lining fabric, but leave a 5cm (2in) opening in the middle of the inside leg seam. ZIP OR PULL ON ? - we would always recommend a pull on hood unless the horse is head shy. Why? Less fiddly, Less to break, Less Bulky. If your horse is head shy or would find fitting stressful or upsetting, we would always recommend a zipped hood.
