About this deal

The brand has built a strong reputation from the onset for producing quality products, and thus thermal paste offers a consistent benchmark that beats its competitors. That’s why it’s an excellent choice for a variety of users. Design: Proven Quality Today we’re going to do a thermal paste review and the thermal paste is going to be Arctic Cooling’s newest MX-4 thermal paste. This is the newest iteration of Arctic Cooling’s famous metal-free, non-electrically conductive, high performance thermal paste so in a nutshell, it should be pretty damn good and 100% safe to use as well even if you do manage to screw up or apply too much. We will also be comparing it with a couple other thermal pastes. Anyway, a little eye candy for you guys before we get into the numbers. We noted that the Kryonaut thermal paste does not dry out even at 80 C. It will deal with the loudness of your equipment and improve the comfort of use. Thermal Grizzly’s products have enough quality and are more expensive than the competition. The Kryonaut simply performs better with unique features that make it stand out. Conductivity: Very High and Easy to use

If you’re familiar with the Arctic brand, the Arctic MX4 thermal compound should also ring a bell. The MX-4 doesn’t need any introduction as one of the foremost thermal pastes the world over. If you’re looking for a paste that comes with extremely high conductivity, this is it. Its conductivity is rated at 12.5KW, which is achieved with smaller particles and is ideal for even the most demanding configurations.

GLASS CPUs ARE COMING.

Although we do not know what the NT-H1 is made of, we do know its performance. Noctua refuses to show its thermal conductivity, stating that this specification does not guarantee real-life performance. Moreover, they included that many other factors may affect this number that other manufacturers may manipulate to make their products more compelling to buy. In terms of NT-H1’s performance, it is inferior compared with the MX-4. Its temperatures are 37.1 degrees Celsius for an air-cooled CPU and 68 degrees Celsius for an air-cooled GPU, according to benchmarks. Although it is marginally worse than the MX-4, it is a relatively great performance considering it is cheaper. If you are targeting the best thermal performance, go for the ARCTIC MX-4. It’s okay to consider the quantity of the thermal paste that comes with a tube, but don’t get ahead of yourself on the number of years you can get from it. That’s because the shelf life of many pastes is just two or three years. That applies to both of these pastes.

The system is then run through 2x 15 minute Prime 95 tests. The average of the two is used as the final temperature. All temperatures are recorded in Celsius using CoreTemp. The thermal performance of a compound is most often not stated by the manufacturer, rather they let the professional benchmarks do the talking for them. With that said, the ARCTIC MX-4 performs quite nicely at 36.9 degrees Celsius for an air-cooled CPU. Moreover, on the GPU side of things, it produces an average temperature of 67.5 degrees Celsius. These temperatures can be considered impressive since it is among one of the bests. However, its relatively low shelf life means you shouldn’t hold on to an extra paste. You can be confident that you’ve successfully installed your cooler. This is the category that all has been waiting for. The thermal performance of a thermal paste is its most important attribute. Let’s see how both perform. Arctic Cooling has already produced many revisions of their MX series thermal pastes and their expertise shows in the MX-4. The results from this thermal compound were very impressive and I have no doubt that as temperatures get even higher the temperature gap between the thermal pastes will grow even larger. As a result, there’s no reduction in quality from the brand and its products. That means high durability in contrast to metal and silicon thermal compounds. The MX4 won’t compromise, and once applied, you don’t need to do so again for at least eight years. Performance: Leave You Satisfied It’s never easy to make a thermal paste comparison whenever two quality products are on display, especially from established brands. But we made a couple of distinctions between these two. Viscosity and Ease of Installation If you’re installing thermal paste on one or two processors, don’t worry about their tube content. The fact is almost all thermal paste tubes on the market will have enough paste to install a CPU. The system is then started up and the minimum temperatures for all 4 cores is noted within the first 5 minutes. If you want long actions on your PC and CPU, look no further than this paste from Thermal Grizzly. You’ll get a long-lasting effect due to its characteristic and specialized structure.
