About this deal

Dossier Woody Oakmos is also specially designed to be a Coco Mademoiselle dupe. The key notes match almost perfectly with Chanel Mademoiselle. Another fan favorite is So Elixir by Yves Rocher, but it might be a bit difficult to find the fragrance in stores nowadays. Transitioning to the heart of the perfume, the composition of jasmine, rose, and patchouli beautifully echoed Coco Mademoiselle’s rich floral scent. Although the base notes deviated slightly from the original, the oakmoss, vanilla, and vetiver melded well to create a warm, alluring finish. It is debatable whether or not Shiseido Zen is an exact dupe of Coco Mademoiselle, but there is no doubt that the two are pretty similar.

Suddenly WOMAN 1 DIAMONDS MADAME GLAMOUR PERFUME EAU DE

Overall, Coco Mademoiselle is a very distinguished, lively, and energetic perfume. The keynotes and personality of Mademoiselle are pretty much different from other Chanel fragrances. So, if you don’t like heavy, floral scents but still wanna try Chanel’s fragrances – here is your best bet. The citrusy top notes are a bit sweeter in this one, but the distinct patchouli base note shines through in Miss Tutu. The dry down settles into a clean white floral, fruity essence that I think better suits the Spring and Autumn months.Because of my fragrance brand loyalty, Mr Frugal has a pretty easy time as far as Birthday, Anniversary and Christmas presents go and I usually have a constant supply of my favourite perfumes. Are you in love with anything Chanel throws on us but not so into floral fragrances? Then this might be the post of your life. Seriously. Today we are going to talk about Chanel’s one of the most well-known and loved fragrance – Coco Mademoiselle. So close in scent, if you’d smell it with eyes closed, you’d mistake it for a dupe; Miss Dior Cherie has the same type of timelessness to its aroma with just hints of differences. Miss Tutu is also slightly less mature, so younger wearers might prefer it to Chanel’s vintage chypre.

This Affordable Perfume Is A Perfect Dupe For Chanel Coco This Affordable Perfume Is A Perfect Dupe For Chanel Coco

This bottle is so pretty that I would buy it just for that and the perfume really does smell lovely. It smells very similar to Marc Jacobs Daisy but I can tell the difference ever so slightly – probably because I love the original version of this perfume and bought Miss F a small bottle for Christmas last year. She wears it quite regularly which is why I’m probably more aware that the smell is slightly different. It has very definite similarities though and I would imagine that most people wouldn’t be able to tell the difference. The verdict: Considering I bought this before I even realised it was so similar to its more expensive counterpart I would definitely recommend this one. In my opinion, So Elixir is an excellent lighter alternative to Coco Mademoiselle as the dry down is more based on florals. The rose notes are also less present than Coco Mademoiselle so it adds a spicy airiness to the fragrance– pretty great for warmer months. The bottle’s design is my only gripe (which some will love). A heavy, cubic structure; I find the design a bit clunky and perhaps a bit too modern looking for such a classic fragrance. Still, I’ll overlook the bottle design of this perfume any day for a lower price with the same longevity as Coco Mademoiselle. The verdict: A lovely perfume in a gorgeous bottle! It smells very similar to Marc Jacobs and is well worth the price.Miss Frugal, who’s recently discovered a love of perfume, doesn’t have the same brand loyalty when it comes to perfume and she smells different every day thanks to her ever growing collection of fragrances and her unashamed used of my perfumes. Debuted in 2001, Coco Mademoiselle hit the market and immediately became a timeless classic. Adding actress Keira Knightley to the mix for the campaigns, the fragrance was immediately sought after by just about every perfume lover. With Jaques Polge ( Chanel’s perfumer from 1976 to 2005) as the head of the fragrance, Coco Mademoiselle embodied the classic style that Chanel has always been known for, but focused now on a bit younger audience.

2x SUDDENLY MADAME GLAMOUR Eau de Parfume 50ml by Suddenly

It’s no surprise that Coco Chanel’s perfume line feels like a god-tier experience, but while the double C’s are so enticing, some might think as I do and wish there were some more affordable alternatives out there. Still, there’s a reason for all the commotion over its originality–anyone crossing you on the street will probably not be able to detect the difference unless they were a serious fan of Chanel.

Personally, I’m a big fan of Chanel. In love with the brand’s iconic fragrance Chanel No.5, but I can not say floral scents are my thing all the damn time. That’s why a part of me finds Chanel perfumes a bit heavy. But the other part of me hopelessly wants to wear Chanel. Coco Mademoiselle is one of those fragrances that hit the shelves and people immediately clamored for it–and for good reason. The timelessness of the fashion house that created it to the distinct chypre smell evoked the feeling of elegance and class to anyone who came across it. It’s no wonder that even now people continue to try to recreate it.

Also, the bottle is a beautiful exaggerated oval shape in salmon tones that I think just stands out well in a personal fragrance collection. In today’s world, Coco Mademoiselle can be somewhat polarising, as some wearers find it still mature despite the fact that it is a lighter scent than Chanel’s fragrances of the past. Again, being a cheaper fragrance, the bottle leaves a lot to desire with almost a mascara-like appearance, but its benefit is that it can easily fit into a purse for on-the-go application. Another dirt cheap clone that can hold up to the double C’s, this one hits the floral dry down just right while being a more summery, fruity version of Coco Mademoiselle. John Varvatos’ slightly sweeter take on the top notes also allows this fragrance to be more suitable to day wear than Coco Mademoiselle, coming just a little short of that mature structure that Chanel is known for. There are a lot of ways to achieve that Chanel feel without having to shell out the cash and because there is such a wide variety of little changes within each dupe, you can find the one that fits absolutely right with you. We've all got a go-to fragrance or two, often including a chic everyday scent and a designer one - possibly one of the best perfumes of all time - for special occasions. But fragrance is a luxury and many popular scents carry a hefty price tag, so when it comes to getting a replacement, many of us seek out a more affordable option. It's not always easy, however, and finding the perfect perfume dupe can be a difficult job, as the difference between cheap and expensive perfumes isn't always obvious, and sometimes the cheaper options are the most long-lasting perfumes.
