Maka & Soul Eater - The main protagonists, Maka and her living scythe are a, relatively, hard working duo. Just like Pandora Hearts, I originally discovered Soul Eater by the anime adaptation. And just like Pandora Hearts, I loved the Soul Eater anime except for the ending. I then tried to seek out the manga, but at the time, I didn’t have money to spend on an ongoing manga. That, and there wasn’t many volumes in English out at the time when I finished the anime. It wasn’t until early this year when I finally decided to collect the series, this time via Square Enix Manga’s hardcover rerelease. So how is the Soul Eater manga?
