The TrueBuds are extremely comfortable, very lightweight and they just sit effortlessly in your ear and never feel lke they are going to fall out. Jogging with these (IPX5 which is fine) they are amazing. I honestly didn't think I would like these as much as I do, they don't move whilst jogging and as these don't have the rubber earbud plug thing, I thought I wouldn't like these as much as they wouldn't provide the passive noise-cancelling effect like most of the other SoundPeats designs do. I was so wrong. I actually really like the fact that I can clearly hear people talking to me without the need to completely remove the buds. Just tune the volume down a bit and you can hear the other person completely fine. For instance, each earbud, the inside of the case as well as the outside of the case all have LEDs so you can be sure of the battery level and charging status, and the earbuds power on when you remove them from the case, and not when the case is opened. Even though these are half-in-ears, which don't go far into your ear canals, there's enough body and depth in the bass. There's a steady mid-bass thump, and even though the sub-bass (the deepest darkest tones you feel as much as hear) can't really rumble, the bass sounds surprisingly deep. Bass slams are stronger than on the TrueAir 2, yet unfortunately, they can distort a little on songs that boost the bass out of themselves - an aspect the TrueAir2 controls better. The Air3 can go plenty loud, and it's around 60% of the playing volume the higher frequencies and details increase. Don't expect the widest soundstage or precise instrument positioning, but music does feel around you with a fair amount of detail and decent separation between instruments and layers. Also with the added ability to charge your mobile phone from the case is very much welcomed addition! Not fast charging but still a great addition.
