I think that HF might be a bit more spicy while this is more of a sugary vanilla, but they are definitely similar…maybe if HF and MF had a baby lol. The opening blast is very strong nose-burning alcohol, but if you can get past that, it is very feminine and delightful. The citrus, green, aromatic, and fresh accords really complement the sweet, fruity, and caramel accords.

And they do exactly that, whilst retaining classic perfume pyramid development with top, heart and base notes which makes them quite different from most other celebrity gourmands with their linear monotonous meh. It’s sweet but not cloying, it’s a pretty enjoyable fragrance and one of the better recent Fantasy’s. It would be perfect for any age and would be suitable to wear for any occasion as it is not as overpoweringly strong as pink sugar. Overall I would say, if you think you have outgrown the original Fantasy, this one might be for you.That’s exactly what’s happened with Midnight Fantasy, Britney Spears’ fourth fragrance release and one of the best-selling fragrances in her collection. I’ve only ever had the OG before, and that was right after it came out, so it’s been a lifetime since I’ve smelled it. Britney Spears fragrances are Curious, Control, (flanker: Curious In Control, Fantasy, (including a myriad of flankers such as Midnight Fantasy, Hidden Fantasy, Intimate Fantasy, Circus Fantasy, Maui Fantasy, Sunset Fantasy, and Island Fantasy), Prerogative, Private Show (flanker: VIP Private Show), Radiance (flanker: Cosmic Radiance) and Believe. It’s not a major step away from the original, but to me it lacks the intensity and longevity that the og has. You can wear this perfume whole year round, it's not just an evening scent or fall/winter scent like you might think before smelling this. I’m extremely happy with this and it can now be my guilty pleasure like pink sugar and midnight fantasy. I think ‘Festival Fantasy’ might have been a better name for this- the scent and bottle bring festival/carnival images to my mind- tie-dye, colourful, carefree, fun and fruity summer days.
