Three: Spoon the mixture into a loaf tin or other freezable container and level off the top with a spatula. This rich, gooey delight of a pud is a wonderful one to dish up for Easter Sunday dessert, served warm and drizzled with fresh cream, fresh custard or with a scoop of ice cream – vanilla or white chocolate flavour is just perfect here. Use a knife or spoon to swirl it in, then add another 1/3 of the mixture, repeating with the dulce de leche until the freezer container is full. At the time of writing (Fab 2021), UK Creme Eggs do not appear to carry an allergy warning for wheat/gluten. It doesn't have to be an expensive stand mixer, a budget handheld electric whisk will do the job too. If you're whipping your own cream or coconut milk for the topping, feel free to use a stand mixer or electric whisk.

This is a no-churn recipe, so we're adding all the air and lightness to the ice cream by whipping the cream first. While it is absolutely meant to be ice cream containing Cream Eggs, some are so heavily weighted towards the egg factor, that while they may look exceptionally ‘Creme Egg’, they are also exceptionally sickly. There is quite a bit of whisking involved, so the mixer can do it all for you using the ballon whisk attachment.

Unlike most no-churn ice cream recipes this does not use condensed milk, so it isn’t quite so sticky and sweet.
