In December 2012, United Biscuits agreed to sell the KP Snacks brand, including Nik Naks, to the European Intersnack Group.

At the same time,it was announced that Crunchy Wotsits would be introduced, in Really Cheesy and Flamin' Hot flavours. Nik Naks are a type of extruded corn snack previously manufactured by Sooner Foods in Scunthorpe, England. However you snaffle a Wotsits, it's deliciously tasty and these new spicy Wotsits are the kick you need.
