About this deal

I was expecting the orange to become live once the valve had moved to the heating position but that’s not the case.

Find links below to useful resources for Drives, Climate Solutions, High-Pressure Pumps, and Sensing Solutions product portfolios. The Danfoss port "H" motorised valve series, which includes the HSA3 Actuator, is suitable for use with both copper and iron pipes. This appears to be the actuator fitted to my Camray 5 Combi 90A boiler, however, the part number in the book is BS 50752. Do you supply these screws as spares or can you let me know the size and type so that I can source them please. Looking at the diagram, the grey doesn’t seem to go anywhere other than link to the cylinder stat off via the broken black line.

To view the purposes they believe they have legitimate interest for, or to object to this data processing use the vendor list link below. I'd normally expect the orange to become live and connect to the boiler switched live but the diagram suggests the orange is just HW. For the last few weeks I have had the 3way valve actuator wiring disconnected and have just been using the system for hot water. Note when replacing Sunvic SDM1901: This actuator is only suitable when the existing actuator is fixed to the valve by two screws.By purchasing the actuator, you may just swap out the head of the device rather than having to replace the entire thing. Today I finally got round to replacing the 3-way valve body and put a new (but not tested) actuator head on as the old one had visible signs of water damage.

I had a faulty actuator which I have now replaced, however I have lost the original wiring diagram that I made when removing the old unit from the junction box in the airing cupboard. For AC drives please contact your local sales office for fix and troubleshooting by certified service partners. Danfoss controls are central heating system time and temperature controls manufactured by well know controls company Danfoss. Note the CH and HW will now share the flow of water until one side becomes satisfied (usually HW) when the valve is then supposed to move to CH only.Wire (1) comes from the HW ON terminal, (goes via junction box) to cylinder stat, then across the stat, then from cylinder stat (via junction box ) to boiler/pump. When HW only is selected, the orange will be live as it is backfed from the boiler/pump connection that is fed from the cylinder stat demand contact.

If you would like to change your settings or withdraw consent at any time, the link to do so is in our privacy policy accessible from our home page. I'm going to double check the two valve heads that I have, to make sure I haven't missed something, but I expect them to both to be faulty. My question is, does the HSA3 electrical wiring need to be connected in the junction box to complete the circuit for the CH ? You can hear the microswitches ticking constantly when the system is fired up for HW only as the motor gets to mid position, it won't go any further ?The products will work with the majority of heating systems and can be used on new installations or added to existing systems.
