I really enjoyed this book for its interactive aspect and believe children will enjoy guessing what could be hidden beneath the flaps. Fun, romance, family time, special holiday blessings given and received and a new perspective on life make this a great read to get in some Christmas spirit. A lovely little Christmas book and its nice to have an extra touchy feely element to it, but the final present is a little morally wrong. What was so fun was that we'd just visited my brother in Manson, WA and we landed at the Wenatchee airport and the very first line of the book mentions Wenatchee and later mentions Leavenworth, which was another fun town that we visited. She balances some tough issues, inside a sweet small town, with just a bit of Christmas magic that is perfect for the holiday season.
