About this deal

The cards are a little on the thin side, and I recommend sleeving them as they will see a fair bit of wear and tear. Unfortunately, the ship is home to Weeping Angels – statue-like creatures that can only move when you’re not looking at them, and who can send you out of time with a single touch. In February 2012, the BBC announced they had shelved the games in favour of worldwide console games such as Doctor Who: The Eternity Clock.

Doctor Who Race to the Tardis Board Game

The Doctor has to use what is left of the TARDIS' telepathic circuits to break the Laws of Time and enlist the assistance of her former incarnations and numerous travelling companions.

I also think the replay-ability of Time of the Daleks may be heavily dependent on your enjoyment of the show.

With the GF9 Doctor Who Boardgame, you'll enjoy hours of entertainment as you battle your way to victory. I recently had an issue with a missing card from a purchase and they liaised with the publisher to arrange for it to be sent to me.It also means you can take turns as the Angels player – a good idea, as this tends to be a more reactive role, with your decisions each turn depending on exactly what the other side is up to. Only these four can take action, and the player only gets four action tokens, so you can send them all racing headlong towards the heroes, but they can’t do anything when they get there. It is semi-cooperative, meaning that although you and the other players share a common enemy and can assist each other, there will still be a single winner if you are first to reach Gallifrey. The Tardis console sheet, which is where the player puts equipment, tokens and companions, is a disappointment to put it mildly.
