I am a member of Female Invest for 2 years now and I learned all I know about investing with these 3 amazing women!I have noticed that other woman financial educators work their own personal stories/views into their books, and was impressed that these three did not follow that trend. Through their subscription business, which has members in 82 countries, they educate women on personal finance and investing with a mission to close the financial gender gap. In terms of recommendations and feedback, there were some sweeping statements made early in the book, which I feel would have benefited from citing the source material/study to add a little more support and strength to the points being made. More than 100,000 women have taken their courses, and they are listed on the Forbes 30 under 30 list within finance.

This was a helpful and insightful book, as a young woman working in financial services I am passionate about bringing more people (and particularly young women) along the journey in taking control of their finances. But here’s the thing, being good with money doesn’t have anything to do with being a maths whiz (like I used to think it did). I wish the chapters were broken up into smaller chunks so I could go back and revisit bits that resonated, because a one hour chapter is a lot to skip back through! Simply equip yourself with easy-to-follow golden rules and tools to find your confidence and open up a whole new world of opportunities.However I did find this as a good reminder of some basic principles and found the sustainability/feminist part educating. I’d personally also like to convey that most of those who find themselves without health insurance are usually students, self-employed and those that are unemployed.
