Hammer House of Mystery and Suspense is a short-lived (one season) anthology television series produced in Britain in 1984/85 by Hammer Film Productions.

An overworked American ambassador working in the UK attempts to spend more time with his wife by visiting a countryside mansion, but soon the trip turns into a nightmare with his wife haunted by a stalker seemingly from her past.When first broadcast they seemed divorced from the studio's characteristic ambiance but time's been kind to them and, retrospectively, their period tics and stylings make them feel more like 'proper' Hammer movies. The series was a co-production by Hammer Film Productions with 20th Century Fox Television (as was the 1968 anthology series Journey to the Unknown), and is known in the United States as Fox Mystery Theater.
