One little nit on this distiller is to repeat what I saw in a few other reviews, and learned myself to be true: 1) there is no power switch, and letting the unit bake an empty reservoir is probably not the best "automatic shutoff" for this unit.Even though distillation isn’t a new technology, it remains one of the most effective water filtration methods. NOT AT ALL because the unit is bad, but because of one simple fact of physics: Differing vapor-points of the various minerals and "impurities" of your supply water.
