Pete Hill, founder of Petvictus, has developed a cat feeding bowl that reduces food waste and keeps food fresh in warmer weather.Peter (or Pet with an ‘e’) Hill was a councilor in Wales when he realized he was wasting so much money every time he put wet catfood into a conventional bowl for his cat. The investment deal would cover Petvictus, including the Pedaldish, the Katfone, and any other pet-related inventions that Pete developed in the future. Over the months, people coming to my kitchen saw my cats using the homemade feeder and it became the source of many discussions. He spent two years modifying his design before funding from Worcestershire County Council’s Proof of Concept programme helped him to subsidise the first 3,000 products, now on sale exclusively at Pets at Home. It is claimed that flies can’t reach it and floating airborne microbes are kept away from it, reducing the risk of infections.
