The 70°C hot shot helps to dissolve the formula powder quickly and easily, it also kills bacteria which may be present in the formula itself.I would reccomend marking on the calendar when the new filter is due, as I've noticed the early warning light for a replacement filter come on about 3 weeks early. Getting the perfect prep replacement filter can be quite a challenge even though the market is flooded with many of them.
