Salter is a trusted and popular kitchen appliance and cookwear brand, so it’s no surprise that they’ve entered the air fryer game and launched an entire air fryer range. Just as I found with the Ninja Foodi Dual Zone, you’re likely to use the Dual Air’s sync mode a lot when preparing a meal. After testing out the Salter Dual Air Fryer, I could happily see myself never using an oven or pan full of oil ever again. We used the Sync Cook setting to cook both the chicken and chips at the same time on different settings.With 12 preset functions and drawers deep enough to accommodate a small whole chicken, this is a good entry-level model for dual-drawer air frying. You can use either side independently of the other, allowing you to cook one dish only, or to cook two foods – each can have its own different settings if needed. I suppose you could argue that an auto-switch-off function isn’t available on most traditional ovens and therefore isn’t essential, but we’d still like it. For example, you could bake for 40 minutes in tray two, while you cook a series of other foods in tray one.
