I developed four products to my specifications and when they were ready for the market Accessory House Global LTD. Fully stretch out your headband (you may need a second pair of hands for this or find a small box or pillow to stretch it around) and then pin the elastic to the headband every 2-3″. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

We describe ourselves primarily as music lovers and our products are designed to enhance different aspects of this experience. Running headbands are also a great way to absorb sweat from your head and stop it trickling down into your eyes. My love for creating and modifying things began way back in 2002, with satellite TV equipment (Insert ‘The Cable Guy’ joke here). Having grown up in a home brimming with sewing notions and paintbrushes, Amy has a deep love for all things creative. I’ve only had exercise “sweat” bands stay put long enough to do the job; and while functional, they sure aren’t fashionable!If you have a serger sewing machine, sew around the outside of the rectangle to keep the edges from fraying, and if you don’t have a serger, use a zig-zag stitch on your regular machine around the edges instead.

Sew with a 1/2″ seam allowance and then press your seams flat and top stitch each flap flat so the underside looks like what you see above.What’s even better, they don’t take a lot of supplies, they are super quick to make (about 5-10 minutes), and are a great way to use up ribbon or scraps of fabric! If you do one piece of elastic, do it right down the middle and if you do two then space them evenly in the middle section of the headband. Sew all the way around the folded edges with the smallest seam allowance you can while leaving 1″ gap in the top and bottom channels to add your elastic through. If this is a colored or printed elastic headband, the color will be lighter or solid-colored on this side. Since most of us probably can't make it to the spa now, recreate that relaxing and pampering experience at home by pairing your headband with a silky robe and cozy slippers the next time you give yourself a facial.

They were refurbished from China and probably not real… ok definitely not real but they were a starting point. I love that it helps keep shorter pieces and flyaways out of my face while I wash my hair (or you can use it while applying makeup as well), and I can throw it in the wash as needed with my washcloths and reusable makeup wipes.
