The spice in this book was also less compared to the other twisted books (2 major scenes) TG and TH had a lot more. The Twisted Series is something that I will treasure forever. From the beginning of the stories, for each man and woman with whom they've been partnered, there's always a lesson that you've learned from them. Ava and Alex, Bridget and Rhys, Jules and Josh, then Stella and Christian—these characters are made with heart, and I just love each of them. They were written so flawedly and so unlovable, yet this book shows that even the unlovable can be lovable, and that's what I love about this series. Also, I'm actually inspired by the women here in this book; they followed their love and passion for what they did after they graduated college, plus they had men in their lives that supported them throughout their journey. I love the spicyness of each book, and I just love the little moments of each book as well.I can't, consciously, give this book more than one star. I'd love to, because I've genuinely grown to love Ana Huang, but I can't. at least Edward was a vampire so the danger was inherently there. Christian literally spends 70% of the book doing nothing except talking about how dangerous he is and be really bad at business and networking. that one scene where Stella had to save his ass by recognizing Christian's business partner was looking for a human connection and not just money-money talk? how did this man become a millionaire? i don't think he has ever talked to a human before. New Effect: Twisted Fate rolls his dice every time he kills an enemy, randomly gaining 1 to 6 but (naturally) having a higher chance to gain 6. Twisted Hate was alright. I feel like the story dragged, and I was losing interest easily. However, I love the love of Josh and Jules to show each other. Whereas with Twisted Love and Games where I couldn't put the book down, Twisted Hate at certain points dragged, and I had to put the book down to get the story. but because he wants a RANDOM ASS PAINTING THAT SOMEHOW MIRACULOUSLY DR JOSH CHEN POSSESSES... the reach... the imagination... the creativity... ana huang i simply have to stan you m'aam! if you guys thought the plot twist with ava/josh's dad in Twisted Love was crazy, this one right here is even better. Theirs is a match made in hell, and when the demons from their past catch up with them, they’re faced with truths that could either save them …or destroy everything they’ve worked for.
