This does not affect my opinion regarding the book in any way. was a very hit and miss and generally unimpressive year for Hallmark and their Christmas output, despite some surprisingly good efforts. 'Christmas on My Mind' to me and am not sure how this opinion is going to go down managed to be one of the best from that year and actually among their best Christmas films in general. It's not a masterpiece by any stretch, then again is that expected from Hallmark, or flawless. But 'Christmas on My Mind' does show that Hallmark do have a good film in them if given a chance and that they can do something different to usual.

You can ski, snowshoe, winter hike, go sledding, ice skate, take the Gornergrat Cog train up to marvel at the mountain views, relax in a spa, tour the village, and of course, eat fondue! Christmas in the Alps is an absolutely unforgettable experience.

It was entertaining enough, although missing the x-factor. The acting, sets, lighting, and music were satisfactory. Also, it's not difficult to sit through a film when everyone is so easy to look at. I get this feeling that these Hallmark actors are of a higher pedigree. Why aren't they performing in more mainstream stuff? I hesitate to explore this, I might not like what I find. Christmas in Switzerland was the plan. And, when we decided specifically on Christmas in Zermatt, it was equivalent to stumbling upon a postcard-perfect, fairytale, snow-covered village.First intial annoyance was Ashley Greene's nose because her nostrils seemed huge and just out of place. I don't usually have things like this bother me, but seriously took some time into the movie to get used to looking at her. I didn't watch the Twilight series except first one and I don't recall thinking anything about her features. Yes, we broke with tradition by not spending it with our families. But, by spending Christmas in Zermatt, we alsofound the holiday cheer we were looking for by making new traditions and creating the holiday we wanted! (By the way, we did some shopping for our friends & family. Especially the ones who love the outdoors!) Also, it’s a great idea to set an MC with amnesia in a Christmas season, because Christmas is such a heartwarming holiday and well, that makes the process of remembering so much better and more meaningful. I agree with the review that the chemistry between the leads doesn't burn down any chem labs. There is a mystery as to why they broke up and when we get to what it is my reaction is So What. I never really did get why Lucy had a sudden personality change supposedly the last three months before she left. It's implied that maybe that's because she was pleasing Aunt Audrey, but I don't think that was covered very well.
