The AI is actually pretty good and the hard AI will provide a challenge for even the adult players which is nice; but thankfully the easy AI is forgiving enough for the target audience to not feel hopeless.

Playing against other seasoned board gamers can lead to some pretty interesting back and forth’s as you attempt to send your opponent’s penguin adrift on their own tiny iceberg island while you roam free snapping up all the fish on the mainland. At which time whoever has the most total fish (not tiles - each tile can have 1, 2, or 3 fish on it) is declared the winner! With hunger urging you on in a fight against your fellow penguins, you’ll do anything you can to survive… while wearing earmuffs. We love playing this as a family and my husband and I have been known to continue playing after the kids are in bed (we are very competitive!

That’s My FISH’ players take turns moving one of their penguins in a straight line collecting the tile (with all its fish) they started on.

Then, place them face-up in a rough square shape, alternating the rows between seven and eight until you have placed all the tiles. This isn't too bad if you play with people that are careful, but if you play with people that are careless, you can quickly have your map destroyed - and then you'll be left wondering what a "straight line" is.
