About this deal

I can't highlight how much I love seeing Chris Riddell's illustrations, they are so beautiful and really captures the characters and scenes that Francesca has created, although I wish there were more sprinkled throughout, but then again I'm just a big fan of his work. I have been enjoying children’s fiction recently and this book was definitely an easy read and a fun one. It’s illustrated by Chris Riddell for starters and his work is always wonderfully fun and creative and brings the characters and plot to life. This book had some great characters and panels for illustrations, and I thoroughly enjoyed seeing his interpretations. The fight won’t really go on for too long and after dealing a bit of damage, we’ll be at the end of the fight/

Before you go on to learn how to tell the time, you have one last thing to do. Draw another imaginary line straight up from the North Star. This line will mark midnight or the passing of 24 hours. This is not a story for the faint-hearted! There are some rather gruesome details. The monsters like to “slice and dice” their victims. Prejudice and bigotry are demonstrated by some characters. I found the cruelty to animals confronting. The story and characters create many points for discussion which will make this a useful book in classrooms, libraries and at home. Reader notes or teaching notes would be useful. stars. With all the feels of a Narnian/Wonderland adventure, this is the start of an enchanting new series! The route in essentially one that sees us constantly spiralling around the room, although it’s worth noting that the starting position of the cube was in the bottom left of the room (pictured above). Keep winding the cube around, and a new pathway up will open. Climb the three platforms and use your grappling hook against the cog on the left. You may need to do it a few times so it’s fully unwound.Secret treasures and stones are part of Drakomor’s hoard hidden throughout his castle chambers. The most valuable of these is the Sertze Hora, the heart of the Klenot Mountain which he’d stolen long ago, and whose absence has caused the slow death of the forests and the skret that escaped and now live there. It is this theft that caused the schism which darkens the Kingdom. This was one cute, little MG fantasy. Right from the title to the very plot, this beautiful story is quite enough to satiate one's appetite for more magical adventures and lost realms and kingdoms.

A fantastical adventure through a small door in a tree. This isnt Imogen and Maire's first time exploring beyond the realms of Earth this time though they are joined by the skeptical step father. Their journey begins with a magical moth and a skret but is soon left behind only to be greeted by an unusual witch, is she young or is she old? Partnered with the witch is an uptight wanna be queen. Upon hearing the witches prophecy that she will one day be queen and that Maria is somehow linked to that prophecy Anneshka sneaks away from the group with an unwilling Maria turning Imogen's world upside down. Imogen seeks out the the help of some her old friends but what they they find along the way is where the true magic of the story lies. The children become pawns in a continuing game of greed, treachery, lies, murder and deceit within this once harmonious place. Although Miro’s loyalty to his uncle keeps him ignorant of what he really is, the truth remains ugly. Once you depart, head up and Valere will realize her prophecy about walking on water is talking about this very moment. Oh my! Step on the watery bridge and proceed over, ready for the Skyward Shrine. And that also brings this mammoth chapter to a close!

Northern Hemisphere Stars

Imogen should be nice to her little sister Marie. She should be nice to her mum's boyfriend too. And she certainly shouldn't follow a strange silver moth through a door in a tree. But then... who does what they're told? Miro, Imogen and Marie embark on a quest which tests their courage and friendship, with each character learning important lessons about themselves which change their outlook and behaviours. They learn to take responsibility for their own actions. They identify values they expect others to demonstrate and they consider whether they are living those values themselves. By the end of the story, we see that these children have transformed in numerous ways, becoming much more likeable characters. We want them to succeed and find happiness. It’s worth noting that there’s also a small projectile variation of Eyebeam too, where Dweller of Strife will blink and just hit you with a tiny laser. Phase 2
