The city of Oxford has been a popular location for fictional murders for nearly a century, the ancient university and its beautiful buildings also lending themselves to wonderful screen adaptations. The book as a whole aims to engage with the methodology, lexicon and explicitness of analytical perspectives in relation to Brexit. This is essential reading for anyone trying to make sense of what the form and substance of Brexit means for law and justice. I don’t think I would commend the book for the solutions it offers, but more for its first-person perspective. His conclusion, with which I agree, is that: “There is most definitely something wrong with the British system … every passing day shows that they have not realised the consequences of what is truly at stake here.
