About this deal
But I shall try what some reviewers have said and that's to let it sit for a few weeks in a dark, cool place and see if it matures a bit. Extra white florals stave off a Dove bar comparison for me; but rather, those large imported, triple-milled bar soaps you might find at a boutique or conversely, the discount retailer for Christmas.
I'm changing my review from "dislike" to "ok" only because you run the risk of getting a bad bottle (which I got from a reputable site) otherwise I actually like it now. It's like if you took some of my thoughts in my initial review but added a lot more tropical fruit and sweetness to it.At the time, I thought my options when it comes to fragrances were pretty much what my mother wore or fruity body sprays I'd find at Victoria's secret. Like a lot of previous reviewers, I too drank the Youtube kool-aid and bought this thinking I would get a pina colada-ish fragrance for the summer. This does not smell like the note description honestly what I pick up the most are the Citrus white florals and musk it’s a very strong scent I could only really picture a old lady liking this I wouldn’t consider this a summer fragrance.
I should stop trusting reviews in here, because it's nothing like fresh or clean, nor Dove or Nivea. Smells like coconut dove … the passionfruit is noticeable but not “puke-like" the way so many passion fruit perfumes smell to me , especially with patchouli which this thankfully doesn’t have in it .
The release of Glow by JLo succeeded expectations, becoming the second-highest seller in the American market. The smell of this perfume actually literally brought a smile to my face and raised my spirits, so I really have to give this one a big thumbs up and highly recommend it to everyone! But yeah I loove the dry down scent that lingers the most not the first spray but the dry down after like an hour or sprayed while rinsing off just before your shower is over. Here on fragrantica when a perfume lists its accords as “tropical” , THIS is what I think when I see tropical!
