About this deal

With the forward citrus component, I understand why it's getting compared to Bleu de Chanel, but this is not a blue fragrance and it's not that versatile. On top of that, I walked into a staff meeting wearing this and one of my coworkers said they could smell me (and that I smelled good) and I was at least 6 feet away. On the other hand, my Luna Rossa Ocean seems to have really poor chem

I've constantly heard that this smells like Bleu de Chanel so I bought it thinking it could be a cheaper alternative. If you're looking for a safe, mass-appealing blue fragrance but don't want to get the same generic Bleu de Chanel / Dior Sauvage / YSL Y that everybody else is wearing, this is a good option. Top notes of green lemon leaves and pulp, pink pomelo and lavender aspic give way to an aromatic heart of fresh cut ginger, pomarose, Mediterranean Maquis herbs and jasmine petals. If you are looking for a nice, calming, inoffensive everyday wear fragrance that resembles a little to BDC EDT without the incense then this is it. I really tried to be a fan boy of BdC EDP but for whatever reason, all the Chanel flankers don't live long on my skin. The Pour Homme Eau de Perfume from Missoni Man is a fresh, vibrant and radiant fragrance keen to make a statement. It's still kind of subdued compared to other modern blues, but it gains some additional character that makes it more interesting, and it's the best part of the scent. At this point you’re comparing apples to apples but I think Missoni is a little cleaner considering there’s no incense, although that’s one of my favorite characteristics of BDC. Someone below wrote that it starts like BdC and then pivots to Mont Blanc Legend, and that's not far off, although its Legend phase is richer than the original.

Top notes of green lemon leaves, pink pomelo and lavender give way to an aromatic heart of fresh cut ginger, pomarose, Mediterranean maquis herbs and jasmine petals. Fitting with its designer heritage, this provocative Eau de Parfum was fashioned for the modern day man who is anything but conventional.Overall, while I will miss the opening of BdC, I believe Missoni's rendition is slightly more refined and balanced. The strongest of the notes are the citruses/mandarin and sea notes for an oceanic accord with juicy citrus thrown in, followed by the lavender and vanilla orchid for a floral and clean nuance with a unique sweetness. The patchouli and musk vibe are a little more prominent in the Missoni than in the Chanel, and I don't get any of the legacy oakmoss vibe Chanel sneaks into the eau de toilette version of Bleu de Chanel, but I feel Missoni more or less targets the Eau de Parfum iteration of Bleu de Chanel as its primary source of inspiration anyway, but does a few switcheroos in the development.

For a summer fragrance modeled after Chanel Allure Homme Sport and Versace Pour Homme, it is unexpectedly heavy and deadening. I tested BDC EDT and Missoni together and Missoni is on my skin for 9+ hours where BDC is unfortunately gone after 5.As much as I wanted to hate this fragrance it’s very good and smells like a subtle close version of the EDP concentration as it goes on the dry down. Lasts a long time and projects like a beast for the first two hours and then quites down but still ever present. I sprayed it on the paper strip, sniffed it and I was thinking to myself: "Please don't do it, I know what you're trying to accomplish. It has not gone badly for me in longevidad because it has reached up to 8 hours of longevity, with regular sillage. After hearing so much hype, I finally decided to give this fragrance a try and I have to say, I'm pleasantly surprised!
