About this deal

If you feel you are going without something that you used to enjoy you’ll be tempted to go back to the addiction, however if you realise that you’ve escaped something that was causing you to be enslaved and ill then you feel free. Most of the world population rely heavily on these foods and are not overweight nor have problems with binge eating. Although absorbing water is the main job of the large intestine, sugar can draw water into the large intestine or at least prevent it from being absorbed properly.

With Allen Carr's Easyway method, you can eat as much of your favourite foods as you want, whenever you want, as often as you want, and be the exact weight you want to be, without dieting, special exercise, using willpower or feeling deprived. Essentially, by cutting out refined sugar and processed/starchy carbohydrates it reverses the risk of heart disease, type 2 diabetes, and all the other health risks associated with their consumption and the salt that is contained in junk food (the latter reduces the risk of kidney disease and high blood pressure). The health of sperm is a primary factor in male fertility, with markers including concentration (sperm count), morphology (sperm shape and size), motility (sperm’s ability to move) and semen volume.Rather than acting against their wishes: all parts of their brain pull together on the same team, thus, it is easy. In seeking to upgrade our eating habits, two key areas demand our attention: what we eat, and when we eat. Allen Carr’s book appealed because I wanted to understand addiction – or, rather, find a cure for my own struggles with food and binge eating. I read Allen Carr's How to Control Alcohol based off a recommendation from Nikki Glazier on a Podcast. John first met Allen in 1997 after he attended Allen's clinic in London and was cured of his 80-a-day addiction to cigarettes.

I was hoping that this book would be a nice read — a fairly mindless but helpful read, if that — to understanding emotional eating triggers, the pitfalls of our food system, etc. It was the same mistake that vast quantities of the population are currently making: to blame refined carbohydrates. It doesn’t go into enough detail about the neuroplasticity element of acquiring habits, so I wasn’t completely sold on their “brainwashing” logic.Often those books contain many of the same ideas as newer favorites, just packaged a little differently for prevailing psychological theory and aesthetic tastes.
