About this deal

Dear Lord, I pray that you plant me firmly in your word and love. Sow my roots so deeply that I cannot be uprooted by the storms of life. Let me know that you are God and that you live in me. Help me love myself unconditionally so that I may be confident wherever I am. Teach me to love myself and to never doubt that I am your beautiful child. Amen. I want us to run too. Not just on the pavement, but in our prayer lives. I want us to not feel so burdened by distractions or doubts. I want us to feel confident as we pray and develop a consistency that can’t be stopped by every noise or to-do on our list. Hebrews 11:6, NASB And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him. To pray with confidence, we must humble ourselves and turn away from sin, anger, bitterness and grudges: Remember that Jesus is praying too. In corporate prayer, we have the assurance of Christ’s presence (Matthew 18:20) and the promise of his intercession (Hebrews 7:25). A Christian never — never! — prays alone. And this is the confidence which we have toward him: Everything that we ask him according to his will, he hears for us.For our Volunteers, as they process all they have seen in Zambia; that they will be inspired and motivated bu their experiences. And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us. Why are we so spiritually impotent and fruitless today compared to the first-century Christians? I believe the answer is found in the word unbelief.

Dear Lord, it is in confidence that I approach you. I know that you will grant me everything I ask from you if it is part of your plan for my life. I need your Spirit to walk with me, Lord. I need you to assure me that I can do all that I am meant to do. May I be confident in your promise and remain faithful to you, even in the hard times. I pray that I live boldly because you are my Lord. Amen. No mincing words there. We need to drop the doubting of what we’re doing when we kneel before the God of all creation. Quit questioning the effectiveness of presenting our requests to Him. Earnestly seek His will for your life, His wisdom for your mind, and His love to fill your heart. He delights in answering you. He is all about His glory. You can fully trust Him with your prayers, as you also trust the truth of His character, purposes, and promises. When you pray, are you coming to God with absolute certainty and confidence that what you’re asking for will be given to you? When you bow your head, are you certain that the things that you’re going to ask for, God is going to answer?PNW Ep: 69 How to make prayer a lifestylePrayer by EM BoundsWalking with God through Pain and Suffering by Tim KellerWant a journal designed to help you focus in prayer?

And this is the boldness that we have toward Him, that if we may ask anything according to His will, He hears us, This coming Sunday, September 10th, we will start a new sermon series in the book of Acts called Through the Church. With this study, we hope to be assured that God advances his mission to make Jesus Christ known through local churches.Within the flow of the Acts narrative we meet one of the churches Paul ministered to, and, through which God, makes Jesus known to all the earth: the church in Ephesus. In the letter Paul wrote to them he gives a moving prayer report (Ephesians 3:14-21).Paul prays that God, by his Spirit, would give the Ephesians strength to know Christ’s mighty heart for them, so that they might become all that God intends. In verses 14-15 of his prayer report, Paul gives the Ephesians three reasons he prays with confidence to the Father on their behalf. For these reasons we too can pray expectantly to the Father for our church. Prayer should be something you look forward to everyday not something that you shy away from.
