If it sounds like a Disney dream come true, have no doubt — it absolutely was. And the decades-long partnership promises to regale even more Make-A-Wish princes and princesses. Right now, wish granters across the country are working to deliver invitations to guests of honor. Earlier this week, Minnie Mouse joined Disney Cast Members and the Make-A-Wish team at Ventura Elementary School in Florida to invite 7-year-old Scarlett to the ball. Recently, Disney and Make-A-Wish celebrated making their 150,000th wish together. Disney and Make-A-Wish have worked together for forty years in making wishes come true for children facing critical illnesses, and the 150,000th granted wish served as a major milestone. And now, Disney has shared that they will be hosting a major wish-granting event at the end of August during World Princess Week.

Character greetings: Make-A-Wish families immersed themselves in Disney’s timeless tales as they met familiar Disney Princesses and other cherished characters in the Dream Parlors. The employees of Walt Disney Animation Studios in Burbank, California are leaving as their workday is done. A Disney intern converses with Burny Mattinson about the studio turning 100, with Mattinson wishing the walls could talk. I couldn’t do each and every child's story any great a due by reviewing it like it was just another book I came across on the shelves browsing or online.

Granny and the other guests also seem eager to find out. Emma's smile can't help but grow as she responds, "Not a thing. Everything I could ever want is right here." Her parents are touched to hear this. Granny snaps her fingers to signal for the guards to open up the room's extravagant doors. Caterers enter with more food. The guests congregate around them. Emma finds herself moving beyond the table, and Queen Snow White approaches her to one side in worry. Queen Snow asks what is bothering her daughter as King David joins them. Emma admits, last night, she dreamed the Evil Queen did cast her curse and she was "the savior" as her parents told her. Royal Ball: The Disney Royal Ball (the party’s main event) was an elegant affair with all the trappings of a classic Disney celebration: grand entrances, Disney princesses, dinner and dancing. Singer Mikayla Beatty, Disney’s 150,000th Make-A-Wish kid, even appeared for a special performance.

Channeling her evil self, Regina declares “Look at them! Missing out on this… happy, happy day. I vow to destroy their happiness if it is the last thing I do. Princess Emma, terrified, steps forward and begs Regina not to hurt her parents. Regina retorts that hurting them is the point unless they know of some hero who can stop her. Emma’s momentary hesitation gives Regina hope. However the princess squashes it when she kneels before the Queen as she pleads for mercy.

The Evil Queen references the sleeping curse that Emma's parents are under, which she cursed them with in " Heartless". But that's not all! I read these children stories…how, when we get older, teens, 20’s, 30’s etc., we just don’t handle the experiences that comes to ones health. Strong in many ways for what these families go through,you could call their strength and resolve stoic. Disney’s wish-granting efforts are ramping up again after being halted during the pandemic. And now, with many of the pandemic restrictions lifted, Disney’s World Princess Week delivered an excellent opportunity to bring Make-A-Wish families an experience they won’t forget.
