About this deal

I experienced so many delights in the slow-built romance that has such an emotional attachment that pulls you even further into the story. I haven’t done one of these in a while and thought it was about time to bring this topic to the table. A chase scene occurs between Brick and the four heroes (Bryan, Lani, Tonya, and Ernesto) and ends with the group making a hasty escape in Ernesto's helicopter, only to later crash-land by a fishing village.

But her character arc was traumatic, yet that didn’t add anything to her overall personality/maturity. But now that I’ve felt it, it’s too much like that all too familiar euphoria in my veins that the addict inside me remembers vividly. Also the fact that this “amazing hero” was close to having sex with another woman, he thought about fucking the other woman while the heroine was in his house and while they weren’t “together, together” they were already married in name. She is such a tough, strong character and wants to take care of herself, but she really can't because she doesn't have the money to get the care that she needs.

Vlatko gives Bryan his blessing to marry Masha for real, but he declines despite his feelings for her. I will admit at first I wasn’t sure if I would like this book and it’s a bigger book at 500 pages, however, I fell in love quite quickly. I have to mention that there’s a “tub scene” at some point that I think it’s one of the most erotic scenes I’ve ever read. Skylar is doing her best but life keeps kicking her down, and when she needs some medical care she can’t afford Jude comes up with a plan. I adore stories with such a low burn of the relationship of the protagonists, who both are so sympathetic, gorgeous and cute.

Born and raised a Jersey girl, Carian now resides in beautiful New Hampshire with her husband and their multitude of furry pets. After Masha catches Bryan dancing with a hotel waitress, she storms off, as it is hinted she hates womanizers. Dans la plupart des romance "age gap", la différence d'âge n'est pas vraiment problématique ou ça reste futile. This book was a rec from a friend because I was in the mood for reading an age gap romance after Birthday Girl by Penelope Douglas so she threw this my direction. It takes skill to develop and resolve a romance once the initial dramatic points have been set up - skills this author evidently does not have. Born and raised in New Jersey, she now lives in New Hampshire with her husband and a multitude of pets. As a Social Purpose Corporation and 100% employee-owned company, we pursue both social and financial goals in the for-profit context, even if those social goals may at times conflict with the corporation’s financial interests. Honestly, my only issue was that the dialogue was a bit stiff at times, but the romance more than made up for it.

Born and raised a Jersey girl, I now reside in beautiful New Hampshire with my husband and our multitude of furry pets and spend most of my time writing, reading, and vacuuming. But unfortunately after the 50% mark, it spent a lot of time convincing me that this age gap didn’t make sense. But not a muscular, inked-up, sandalwood-scented-aftershave-wearing grown man with hands the size of my head.

The only way an age-gap romance can work is if the younger hero or heroine is mature and Skylar did not feel mature. Then I passed out and face-planted in front of sexy, brooding Jude “Lucky” Lucketti, and he rushed me to the ER. We have an age gap (May to December), Friends to Lovers, Forbidden Love, and Marriage of Convenience. Our mouths linger breathlessly when they shouldn’t—warm, and damp— before we slowly, reluctantly, pull apart. Then boom we're hit with another one near the end because that's what they think we all want as part of the HEA - nah.Masha, using the distraction, grabs Brick's gun and shoots him in the back: he falls off the cliff, taking Bryan with him. The cover kinda creeps me out, honestly (especially once I learned their ages), but I was super curious about the concept, and I love a good marriage of convenience. secretly knowing, or rather, wishfully hoping and praying, Don’t Kiss The Bride would consume and be the one for me. So when at 50% the 1st one happens, we're then hit with multiple not needed scenes for the next 10% then it settles down again (thank heavens).
