About this deal

While reciting the T Series design language, the T10S is one of the most compact subwoofers in its class, which allows it to be easily integrated into any studio environment. As long as you set the sub/main balance correctly, I see no reason not to use this sub with mains from other manufacturers — it could breathe new life into smaller monitors. Furthermore, the choice of positioning a woofer as close as possible to the floor allows on the one hand the minimization of the destructive interactions between the direct emission of the woofer and that of its image reflected from the floor (which acts as a true acoustic mirror) and from the another, an increase in the level of the overall "energy" response (direct emission + floor reflection). The first thing you notice is the neutrality of Crossovers that cuts what has to cut that is, the high frequencies for the audio part directed to the sub and the low frequencies for the one directed to the satellites, without adding anything to the original music signal.

I'm getting solid response down to 20hz, If you have a bigger room or just need sheer volume two might help. The T10S is fitted with a polarity invert switch and an internal crossover with three settings (80Hz, 120Hz, or Bypass), making it easy to integrate the sub with your mains and optimize for room acoustic and overall system performance in your room. While reciting the T Series design language, the T10S is one of the most compact subwoofers in its class, which allows it to be easily integrated in any studio environment. For seamless A-B testing during your mix process, your can connect a latching footswitch to the T10S too.

The cabinet, which is rear-ported via a slot above the control panel, employs an unfussy construction and is made from 18mm MDF covered with a textured, black plastic foil. With my A7s and in my room, the extra depth made for a more complete monitoring experience and the sub behaved perfectly without drawing attention to itself — I could hear no port noise, rattles or mid-range mumblings. It's in a sleep mode when no signal is sent to it for some time, and "wakes up" when receiving signal. I can hardly give up the reproduction of the last two octaves, those that with the woofer located as close as possible to the floor, propagate from the bass and envelop you, sometimes gently sometimes with energy, vibrations that strongly contribute to the involvement and warmth of listening.Ideally, I would love to be in a larger space where I could place midfields and a sub some distance away - this would allow the bass frequencies the space to develop and sound more natural, or so I hope. Often users have their sub set way too loud, but the right way to set it is so that when you hit the footswitch to compare the sound with the main speakers on their own, all you miss is that lower octave — there should be no extra sense of loudness at the bass end with the switched sub in, just a sense of more depth. The T10S extends the frequency spectrum you hear when used in conjunction with a pair of Adam Audio T-series monitors, giving you a complete reference of the content you're working on. If you are like me, and use a monitor control station, the signal from your interface keeps the sub awake even if you've got it muted. I don't know how gimmicky the speaker cone placement is, but a big problem is that it won't allow you to use the ISOsub200.

Designed to extend the bass response of the T Series, ADAM Audio’s affordable line of professional 2-way active studio monitors, the T10S Powered Studio Subwoofer delivers a max SPL of ≥104dB and rock-solid bottom end down to 28Hz (-6dB). I am on the lookout for a new subwoofer for my simple home studio, and i am trying to figure out something basic. Unit 4 - Carberry Court 28 Queen Elizabeth Avenue, Hillington Park, Glasgow, United Kingdom, G52 4NQ. My mains are ADAM T7Vs, while my main "gear" includes PreSonus Sphere, Native Instruments Komplete 14 Collectors, NI S88 MK2, NI M32, Maschine+, and a Yamaha PSR-SX900.The internal stereo crossover, is adjustable on two fixed cuts 80 e 120 Hz which together with the volume and phase adjustment, allow a good calibration of the bass signal. The compact frame houses a 130W Class D amplifier that delivers a rich bass whatever audio you're recording. The T10S offers a number of options for integrating the sub into your system, including two high-pass filter settings, and polarity inversion. This sub sounds amazing it can go really deep and produce an all around pretty balanced sound quality, I can't comment on bigger rooms but it covers mine extremely good.
