If you are a mature, masculine, conservative, stoic man with strong character, good morals and principles, and has a respect and understanding of history… this is the scent for you. He's not the loudest one in the room but he will get noticed because he stands out quietly and with class. His body chemistry and Aramis Super Cologne (as I later found out) had the women flocking like vultures over a fresh carcass. Less Oakmoss is the only difference I can detect, and that is a shame, but it is still an awesome fragrance and it still deserves a 4. And in this melange, there’s a subtle powdery smoothness, which I’m guessing is iris with orris butter, some rose, and maybe some narcissus with its animalic tonality.It is definitely of it's time, but you can totally pull this off in 2021 especially if you're 30+ and you've got the confidence to wear something more mature, and you don't mind getting "you smell like my dad" from older women! It is distinctly masculine and unmistakably elegant, a provocative and eternally contemporary perfume. So different from everything else, it's simultaneously airy and heavy, dense but sharp, immediately recognizable, a masterpiece that belongs in every collection. I must say, though, that it has never smelled as arousing on any man as much as it does on my original Aramis man. It's really hard to fairly judge something so old in these terms, but being a splash, I'd say staying power is very similar to the newer spray.

The kind of thing where you walk into a club full of people and cigarette smoke, and everybody turns their head, knowing you're wearing Aramis.Yet, I certainly recommend this fragrance for everyone who is on the lookout for a true , rock-solid classic.
