Ranran does a great job bringing Roy’s light novel to manga and adapting Ririnra’s character designs whilst also exceling at contrasting the banality of Ryoma’s previous life with his new one.The guild then sends Miya along with some other adventurers to keep the population away from the toilets until Ryoma completes the cleaning. It's just a guy whose life in the previous world sucked and so a trio of nice gods were like, "You know what? After giving them instructions on their new job, Ryoma has both help him with an opening party he gives to all his friends.

To ease the rumors, Ryoma relays to the public the fact he also tamed limur birds, but a group of criminals in response attack him in an attempt to steal them. It's a very attractive fantasy, and of course it could still all go wrong if the mangaka decided what their main character really wanted to do was to be awful, but instead we have a protagonist who lives alone in the forest learning to use magic and taming slimes and eventually meeting some humans who are incredibly impressed by him (more wish fulfillment!On va suivre Ryôma qui se retrouve réincarné dans un monde où il va vivre en paix et apprivoiser des slimes. And as usual, there are new slimes, revolutionary discoveries, and Ryoma himself obtains unexpected skills and levels up in more ways than one! Whilst it doesn’t go into straight-up comedy (like in That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime), it adds some levity to the genre which has tended to be populated by brooding heroes in recent series. It can be a bit bland at times, but I think the focus on character gives me hope for better volumes. The light novel does give more details of course, but the visuals in the manga are cute and it is nice putting a face to all the characters we meet.

Eliaria later moves to the Imperial Academy at the capital for her studies and makes some new friends. Shaw's impressive vocal range — from the imperious Claire to the timid Lily, makes this audiobook version the best way to enjoy I'm in Love with the Villainess.
