Some scenes were also shot at the Ardverikie House Estate and on the banks of Loch Laggan, just outside the park. Swann insists she is not his child and shares intelligence her father gathered about Safin and the island his family owned.

Michael O'Sullivan of The Washington Post gave the film three out of four stars, writing that it was "a bit too long and a bit too complicated", but added that it was "also a fittingly complicated and ultimately perversely satisfying send-off for the actor". Printed in English, this new 648 page edition comes with a QR download code giving access to the French, German and Spanish versions. Ash is, then, revealed to be a double agent working for Safin and shoots Leiter and traps him with Bond below deck, fleeing with Obruchev after blowing up the ship. In October 2016, Craig denied having made a decision but praised his time in the role, describing it as "the best job in the world doing Bond". Here we see what a bloodthirsty Bond who’s lost all ounce of self-control and composure looks like, and Craig makes a small meal out of the hissed line of “Die, Blofeld, DIE!Filming locations included Italy, Jamaica, Norway, the Faroe Islands and London, in addition to Pinewood Studios.
