As a specialist in action cinema, the subjects of the 1980s golden age, spectacle and female representation are among Dominic’s favourites – the latter being the basis for his MA dissertation. This legendary indie film launched the career of Kevin Smith and won over both critics and audiences with its raw energy, outrageous comedy and a hip soundtrack. some things may or may not have been done under a blanket b/c she didn't want to watch a black and white movie. Clerks II turned out to be surprisingly more entertaining and heartfelt than most were expecting, though it continued Smith’s tradition of outrageous shock comedy and dialogue-driven situations.

Kevin Smith's very personal cap to the Clerks trilogy, Clerks III or Clerks 3, is gearing up to make the jump from a limited theatrical run to a much larger audience on home video. I remember one of the main characters resisted another film in this franchise but clearly that changed or they was swayed enough to do this movie. It’s hard to be objective about a franchise you love so my advice is this; this shouldn’t be your first foray into the world of Smith.It should be noted that the audio commentary has been programmed as its own separate version, meaning that none of the other audio or subtitle options are available while listening to it.

He couldn't pack a theater doing a Judd Apatow movie with Seth Rogen at the height of both their popularities, and Cop Out was a bust. I pretty much gave you the trailer, I think in all honesty I avoided spoiling myself on this movie because I wanted to be surprised.The video presentation looks fantastic as a whole and provides a clean, sharp and richly detailed presentation from start to finish that never suffers from any unexpected faults or troubles along the way. I have my fingers crossed though that they do a Clerks collection where they add color to the first movie and make it possible to watch the entire series in either black and white, or in color. You’re introduced to a new silent character, which I was starting to think they was going to do a reboot or carry on the franchise with new faces. I just remember long time ago the Clerks 1 and 2 used to be pretty good back in the day, took them so many years to release this third one, and have to say there are some funny moments, on and off, but the whole movie seemed very depressing.

I'm glad I saw it to finish out the trilogy, but if he never made another movie, I would be good with that. Clerks II was about reaching middle age and not entirely finding your place in the world, but staying true to yourself and your friends. The story has no fluff, as Smith himself has said a movie doesn't need to two and half hours long , when one and half will do and keeps moving at a followable pace.
