I’ve found that on skin it smells like more of that synthetic 2000s vibe, but in the air it smells like a clean shampoo or body wash. All are too strong to my liking, so yes, one has to wait for a few minutes to get what the scent is. I absolutely LOVE lily of the valley, I used to pick them every spring at my grandmothers house when I was young. I think that the comparison to Bright Crystal is accurate, if anything, this is what I wished Bright Crystal smelled like as I find it is TOO citrus on me and takes away the girly aspect I enjoy in fragrance. Like many Guess scents it is a fresh and fruity scent and Original features a lovely mix of lemon, grapefruit, blackcurrant and florals on a wood and vanilla base.

Vanilla, praline and sensual musk from the base wrap around you cosily, adding to the sophisticated warmth of cedarwood and ambrox. Guess Gold (2007) is a fruity floral with frozen citrus, pineapple, jasmine, lotus and rose on wood and vetiver. I blind bought this about 2 years ago after watching YouTuber Coco Pebz saying she wore this on her Caribbean holiday and how good it is. I can first smell the crisp apple, bergamot,FREESIA, Peony, a small hint of strawberry and dry down it’s all magnolia and amber.This trendsetting brand is known for it's jeans as well as a series of very successful perfumes, including Guess Original (1990), Guess Gold (2007) as well as Guess Dare (2014).
