About this deal

Green grape tastes like grape juice with some alcohol. It doesn’t taste bad. In fact, I really like this one. However, it does taste a bit like wine. So, if you aren’t into that, then try another flavor on the list.

Even overseas, soju is very popular. Many people, especially Asians, drink lots of soju. It’s affordable and tastes amazing when you mix it with different drinks. So, which one is the best and why? Smash the ginger with the side of a knife, then roughly chop. Both of these steps help release the ginger aroma and oils, which will let them mingle with the rest of the drink later on. Finally, top your bingsu with sliced fresh strawberries and strawberry ice cream. I always pour a little more strawberry puree at the end to make it pretty.

Peach is a universally loved flavor because of its sweet and addictive smell, and tangy and sweet taste. Peach flavored soju is almost like a peach Hi-Chew, except slightly alcoholic. These drinks are typically colorless, primarily sold in clear, green bottles, and bear a milder sweet yet aggressive flavor than vodka. Soju is a Korean distilled alcohol made with rice or other starches, with the largest manufacturer of soju being Jinro. Soju tastes most similar to vodka with slightly less burn and a lower alcohol content of about 20% ABV. Along with the original (chamisul) flavour, many sweet and fruity flavours are now available and preferable for drinking straight or mixing drinks. What is yakult? As we’ve said above, the most popular brand of strawberry soju on the market is Jinro’s Chamisul brand. Their version of this spirit weighs in at 13% abv.

Soju is a transparent liquor that contains 20–40% alcohol by volume (ABV). However, the fruit-flavored versions tend to fall on the lighter side of 20% ABV. It is a Korean product mostly consumed in Korea, Japan, and China but has swept across the globe. While the flavoring might be mild, it still delivers that alcoholic punch it promises. For a fusion of East meets West, substitute the vermouth in a Martini, and you’ll end up with a Strawberry Martini. You are missing out if you’ve never had soju before. The clear, colorless, often odorless drink goes down quite easily compared to most other alcoholic drinks. Even though this offers a twist on the traditional Spanish wine drink, Sangria, this is Korea’s take using Soju. It’s a more modern favorite, but Koreans love this! You can use whatever stone fruit you like, but make sure they are very ripe and on the verge of going bad.

7. Lychee

Imagine a mix of grapefruit, lemon, and lime – refreshing, light, and a little sour. Yuzu flavor soju tastes exactly like that.

Ingredients: 60 ml lemon juice 60 ml honey syrup lemon wedge (garnish) 60 ml Jinro Chamisul Plum Soju We did research, and after a couple of weeks of tasting and experimenting, here are the 7 best soju flavors. 1. GrapefruitYakult yogurt drink - Yakult is the brand name but I'll use it for clarity to avoid confusion with other types of yogurt drinks like kefir. Use any brand of yakult you have available to you. They come in tiny 62-65mL bottles with a red or green foil wrapper lid. Do you ever crave desserts containing strawberries? To me, there is nothing better than the tart, sweet, and fruity flavor of a luscious ripe strawberry. Korean strawberry shaved ice combines the flavors of fresh strawberries, decadent strawberry puree, creamy strawberry ice cream, and snow-like shaved ice. The strawberry one smells amazing, it’s very sweet, but personally, I don’t really like the taste. The scent is overpowering, while the taste isn’t that good. However, if you like more of a bitter taste, then this one is great. Green apple is definitely one of the best soju flavors. It has always been a fan-favorite fruit across multiple drink mediums, and it’s no different with soju. Green apple soju almost tastes like drinking candy.

You can prepare the drink in advance and store it in the fridge. We suggest keeping it in a jug or a bottle for convenience. Once you're ready to enjoy it, pour it into a glass and add some ice before serving. Bigger Serving Major firms, including Jinro, Lotte, and Hite-Jinro, now produce Soju. Jinro is the industry leader, accounting for more than half of the Korean Soju market. Lotte and Hite-Jinro are two more well-known manufacturers. Cover the Boston shaker securely and shake for 30 seconds or until the outside of the shaker is freezing cold to the touch. Carefully open the shaker.Simply blend together 2 oz of soju, 1 oz of sugar syrup, half oz of lime juice and as many strawberries as you fancy. If you’re serving more than just yourself, simply up the quantities of the ingredients accordingly. This is a good drink for those that like to play mixologist at home or when entertaining friends. It’s simple yet complex blending all the sweetness of Soju with the refreshing flavors of ginger, basil and strawberry. With so many fruity and fresh flavors out there, you might be feel a bit lost right? But don’t worry, to help you in your choice, we selected for you the 10 best soju flavours we recommend you to taste! Like its fresh counterpart, lychee soju has the most wonderful tropical fruit smell. Once you pop the lid open, it’s undeniable that it is lychee flavored, as the sweet and slightly floral scent fills your nose. If you’re using fresh fruit, I’d recommend either ugly or slightly overripe strawberries. Ugly because they get mashed up and you won’t be able to tell, slightly overripe because they mash down easier.
