Verán estos libros yo los encontré por casualidad en remate en una feria del libro, como las portadas me llamaron mucho la atención ls compre sin saber de qué se trataba la historia,pero como lo he dicho es buena la historia. Both the characters of Hitch and Clancy, Ruby's two main friends in the know, are very amusing to read about. I particularly like Hitch. Clancy is a bit strange, and the way he and Ruby talk to one another seems very unrealistic for two thirteen year olds. I mean, not many people talk like that anymore. Ruby's smart, but why must she insist on talking ungrammatically? However, if you just let yourself forget that aspect, Take Your Last Breath is certainly an enjoyable read. Hey, buster! I used to be a big fan of Charlie and Lola when I was little, then as I got older I’d started to read Clarice Bean. In the Clarice Bean books, Clarice is a big fan of a secret spy agent 'Ruby Redfort' I had always wondered about this young spy, and the adventures she had. Clarice thought she was brilliant. Now I have to agree with her! The mystery was incredible. It was well-thought out. Trust me, it isn't your normal "Oh no! A mystery! Who did it?" kind of thing.Clancy and Hitch both share the second spot for great character. I really liked them both. Clancy for how great of a friend he is, for how he is always there for Ruby. Of course at times he gets angry, which is logical given Ruby's consistent record of getting somewhere late. But he and Ruby often discuss cases, or puzzles, and together they find out what is going on. I really liked how Clancy didn't immediately thought it was Ruby when he was called to the principal. Instead he went on to find who did all those things to make Ruby a suspect. Even later when things start to get heated, he doesn't wait and cower, he just jumps right in.

i feel confused about this book. i did like ruby, but probably because she is so precocious, most of the time she felt like an older teenager and the way she talked with her friends using "old pal" and "old friend"? who is she? colombo?? fO.o Lauren Child MBE is an English author and illustrator. She was the UK Children's Laureate from 2017-19. Siempre he escuchado que se quejan en el caso de mi país México , que no es un país lector, o que los jóvenes no nos gusta leer, pero para mi ese no es el motivo. El problema está en que un libro es muy caro y en ocasiones no te alcanza para comprarlo aunque uno quiera. O no todos tenemos acceso a tabletas como por ejemplo la Kindle. A eso hay que sumarle que las editoriales no promocionan sus catálogos como es debido. Another great instalment to the Ruby Redfort series! To think that it is the supposed second-to-last novel!

Este es el segundo libro de la saga Ruby Redfort y aunque a mi parecer le faltó un poco en la trama no decepciona pues mantiene la esencia del primer libro. I loved how everything came together in the end. How even some things I didn't expect had something to do with the bigger picture! It was definitely a moment that made me go AH!! and look startled. I won't spoil what all those things are of course or what the bigger picture is in the end, you will have to read on your own. My first Ruby Redfort book, but certainly it won't be the last one! I will be getting this whole series. Maybe, I will wait until summer and my vacation, so I can eat, um read, these while relaxing in the sun (at least I hope it will be sunny :P). so erm... technically i haven't read this book for a while, and before i read it i had in my head that i wouldn't like it. i am also currently a college student who pretends to be a literature snob so shhhh don't tell anyone. I decided to read this book because I own and have read every other book in the series and I got this book as a present.Lauren Child is such a great author, I recommend this book to those who like mystery novels, adventure books and an interesting read.
