About this deal

It stands on its own as both a prequel and sequel to the original release, all the while revealing a more hopeful outlook. OKnotOK features the original OK Computer twelve track album, eight B-sides, and the Radiohead completist’s dream: I Promise, Lift, and Man Of War.

While originally released in 1997, OK Computer feels like one of the first albums of the 21st century. It also includes an audio cassette containing audio experiments, session recordings, demos (including demos for two previously unheard songs), and early versions of " The National Anthem", "Motion Picture Soundtrack", " Nude" and " True Love Waits", songs released on later albums. The Observer wrote that the reissue, with its "excellent" unreleased songs, proved that Radiohead were "the world's greatest rock band, pushing the limits of what they, or anyone else, could achieve". All tracks are written by Thom Yorke, Jonny Greenwood, Philip Selway, Ed O'Brien and Colin Greenwood No.The vinyl within the big package is housed in a hardcover book along with 40 pages of artwork and lyrics (“except the ones that haven’t really got any lyrics”). Features Remastered OK COMPUTER, B-Sides and Three Never Before Released Tracks: “I Promise,” “Lift,” “Man Of War” Rescued from defunct formats, prized from dark cupboards and brought to light after two decades in cold storage… OKNOTOK will be issued June 23 on XL Recordings, coinciding (roughly) with the original 1997 release date(s) of Radiohead’s landmark third album OK COMPUTER. Two decades later it stands as an eerily prescient glimpe into the technological alienation and dislocation of of a new era. Please kindly note that any clingfilm or shrink wrap around the item is not considered part of the product. Under this weighty tome are yet more surprises: a notebook containing 104 pages from Thom Yorke's library of scrawled notes of the time, a sketchbook containing 48 pages of Donwood and Tchock's 'preparatory work' and a C90 cassette mix tape taken from OK Computer session archives and demo tapes.

Impeccable product and they also took consideration in sealing the protection box so that it was not affected. Finally, a humble two-CD edition covers the same 23 tracks as outlined above with the remastered album, B-sides and unreleased tracks. Produced by the band and Nigel Godrich, the album features the singles Paranoid Android, Karma Police, Lucky and No Surprises, and is widely cited as one of the greatest works of Radiohead’s - or any artist’s - catalogue. Rescued from defunct formats, prised from dark cupboards and brought to light after two decades in cold storage, OK Computer OKNOTOK 1997 2017 will be issued through XL Recordings, coinciding (roughly) with the original 1997 release date(s) of Radiohead’s landmark third album ‘OK Computer’. The nuances of Stanley Donwood’s cover art are cleanly reproduced and placed on every surface of the triple gatefold—as well as on all three sleeves, a move that invites contemplation and deepens the listening experience. OKNOTOK comprises remastered versions of OK Computer and its B-sides, plus three previously unreleased songs: " I Promise", " Man of War" and " Lift".
